Once the pan is on the burner, do the following:
- Press Cooktop (on the far left) to turn on the stovetop - you will see the red light come on.
- Press the On-Off button to turn the burner on - these are the buttons directly to the right of the Cooktop button for the left burners, and on the far right for the side burners.
- Use the -+ buttons to adjust temperature
